THREE-YEAR CONTRACT RATIFIED BY TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION,
BOARD PLANS TO TAKE ACTION ON MAY 22, 2018
The Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 Board of Education and the Lincolnshire-Prairie View Teachers' Association are pleased to announce that the Association has ratified a new 3-year contract beginning in August 2018 through August 2021. Representatives from the Board, District Administration and Teachers' Association leadership team explored the key issues and developed options to address them. The new agreement seeks to recognize the role teachers have in educating our students and to help ensure the long-term financial health of the District. The new agreement includes an overall salary increase impact to the budget of 2.4% for teachers while providing health insurance options to mitigate rising costs. The Board of Education plans to take action on the contract at its meeting on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
